Migrating from FrontPage, Part 4 – Everything Else

In the first three parts of this series (Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3), I discussed how to rebuild the foundation of your website and replace the most common Microsoft FrontPage web components with alternatives that are standards-compliant (and that don’t require the deprecated FrontPage Server Extensions). In this part, I’ll discuss the remaining MSN, MSNBC, Visual InterDev, and Advanced components.

As before, it’s still safe to use Microsoft Expression Web to edit existing web pages that use FrontPage web components, but there’s no way to add new instances of those web omponents.
